   We edit only news websites and blogs, and only those in specific areas (current affairs, the Internet, A&E, and business). You’ll have a partner who really understands the style and conventions of your industry.
3. We’re flexible!
   Don’t change your publishing process for us. Edit Owl keeps up with the latest content management systems and publishing tools, and so we adapt to you. In fact, we’ll make the process easier and faster!

You have three options. Pick the one you like best:

• If your content is already online, you could send us the URL, and we’ll copy it into a document for editing.
• You could attach it as a document to our contact form. We accept the following formats: HTML, plain text, rich text, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Apple Pages, Zoho Writer, and OpenOffice Writer.
• If you use a content management system to publish your content, you could create an account for us to log in and edit the content directly. Most of our clients prefer this method.

At Edit Owl, we know that the success of your website or blog depends on how fast you can post high-quality content. The first time you contact us, we’ll respond in 24 hours (usually much quicker). When we’re editing, the turnaround time for an average post is as little as one to two hours. Whatever the circumstances, we’ll always say up front when your content will be ready.

Editing is inherently a collaborative process, and at Edit Owl we want to make sure your blog posts say exactly what you mean. That’s why during the editing process we’ll ask you about parts of your content that may be unclear. We also like to remain accessible to our clients, whether by email, phone, or instant messaging. It is all a part of our commitment to helping you post the best possible content on your website.

That’s right. If you’re curious to see how your content will look with great editing, just send us a post from your website or blog, and we’ll perform a sample edit free of charge. We’ll cover everything included in our standard editing package: grammar, spelling, punctuation, word choice, style, etc. And we’ll get it back to you in 24 hours. But be gentle: try not to go above 1000 words.

Your website belongs to you, and ultimately you decide what goes on it. Our goal is to improve the quality of the writing and show you how good it can be; but you have final say over which edits to keep and which to let go. If you submit your content in a standard word-processing format, we’ll record all of our edits with the “Track Changes” feature so that you can see exactly what we’ve done. And if you ever wonder why we made a particular change, just ask. We want everything to be crystal clear.

Yes, we do. CSS, too. If you would like us to input our edits directly to your website, not only will we not spoil what you’ve got, but we can even clean up your HTML (or add some) as we’re editing.
